About IPOC

A Nonprofit Built by the Volunteers Who Train Here

Imperial Polk Obedience Club has run entirely on volunteer hours since 1964: no paid training staff, no owner, just members teaching members.

1964

Founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog training club in Lakeland, Florida.

100%

Volunteer-run: every instructor, trial steward, and officer donates their time.

3

Licensing bodies (AKC, UKC, CPE) trust IPOC to host their sanctioned trials.

Our Facility

An Indoor Training Center on Century Boulevard

Every IPOC class and trial runs out of our climate-controlled training center at 3611 Century Boulevard: rings marked, equipment stored on site, and no class ever gets rained or heated out. It's the same floor our members compete on, so class time doubles as real ring practice.

Your tax-deductible donation keeps our classes affordable, our facility safe, and our volunteers equipped to serve the public.

Leadership

Run By Members, For Members

Officers and trial chairs are elected from the membership. Roles shown reflect the current club year: like every volunteer board, they're re-elected and reshuffled over time.
