Classes & Programs

Nine Ways to Train, One Training Center

Classes run in 7-week sessions. Check prerequisites before you register: most programs build on Basic Obedience. Exact tuition is on the Pricing page; the current session's day/time grid with instructor assignments is on the Class Schedule.

Foundations & Puppy

Ages 8 Weeks & Up

Every dog at IPOC starts here. S.T.A.R. Puppy and Beginning Obedience take puppies 8 weeks to 5 months through loose-leash walking, sit, down, stand, reliable recalls, exposure to different walking surfaces, and their first tricks: building toward AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Certification. Basic Obedience picks up at 6 months and works toward the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Advanced Basic is the bridge into Competitive Obedience and Urban Dog.
